Jano Svetlan Majerčík - Singer-Songwriter Concert

Jano Svetlan Majerčík is a Slovak singer-songwriter, lyricist, and composer with an unmistakable artistic style. His songs are built on a combination of powerful lyrics, a distinctive style of performance, and guitar—without flashy effects, but with all the more space for words, emotion, and thought.

In his work, he touches on themes that are close to all of us—relationships, love, finding one’s own path, humanity, joy, and those moments when we need to pause and look at our lives a little differently. At the same time, he naturally combines depth with humor, perspective, and simple humanity.

His concerts have an intimate and spontaneous atmosphere. They are not just a series of songs—they are an encounter with music and words, during which one can laugh, reflect, find peace, but above all, step away from the daily hustle and bustle for a moment.

Svetlana’s music appeals to listeners across generations and is performed at concerts, festivals, cultural centers, galleries, and unconventional intimate venues throughout Slovakia.

If you’re not yet familiar with Janka Svetlana Majerčík, come see him perform live. You might discover that some songs don’t end with the final note—they linger within you for a while longer.

The concert is part of the project “Janka Svetlana Majerčík Concert Series in the Regions of Slovakia, ” which was supported by public funds from the Fund for the Support of the Arts.
