JAZZ FOR SALE FESTIVAL | concert

Košice will once again come alive with jazz. On November 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the historic town hall will host the 36th annual JAZZ FOR SALE International Jazz Festival, which will offer an evening full of high-quality music, distinctive performers, and original jazz arrangements.

The festival is one of Košice’s traditional jazz events and will once again bring together musicians from Slovakia, Poland, and Sweden this year. Visitors can look forward to a diverse program featuring a large jazz ensemble, prominent vocalists, and international collaborations.

The evening will open with the Adrian Harvan Big Band from Slovakia. This large jazz ensemble will showcase the rich sound of wind instruments, the rhythm section, and solo performances by individual musicians.

Next, the Tamara Behler & Grzech Piotrowski Quintet will travel from neighboring Poland to perform at the festival. Their performance will showcase another facet of contemporary jazz, combining expressive vocals with instrumental virtuosity.

The highlight of the evening will be the international ensemble Ulf Wakenius & AMC Trio, which brings together a Swedish jazz guitar legend and a renowned Slovak trio. Ulf Wakenius is one of the leading figures on the European jazz scene, and his collaboration with the AMC Trio promises an exceptional musical experience.
