Muse Teatro: Father

The play Father by the French novelist and playwright Florian Zeller, one of the most performed French authors of today, is coming to the stage of the Historical Town Hall. The Muse Teatro will allow the audience to delve into the mind of a man who loses his memory and causes himself and those around him challenging moments in the autumn of his life, November 2, 2026 at 6:00 pm.

The gripping and at times almost detective-like story of a father living the final stages of his life with his daughter is complicated by an illness that causes often hilarious and even grotesque situations. The father refuses help from his daughter, but struggles to make sense of his changing circumstances as he begins to doubt his loved ones, his own mind, and even his perception of his own reality.

You will leave the theatre with a profound artistic experience in the form of phenomenal performances by Emil Horváth Jr. and Zuzana Kanócz in the lead roles and other performers. The performance also features: Alexander Bárta, Helena Krajčiová, Dominika Žiaranová and Peter Brajerčík.
