Tommy, a 19-year-old provocative internet influencer who promotes violence and recklessness, wakes up after a wild night chained up in the basement of a remote country estate. He is being held there by a married couple—the outwardly calm Chris and the quiet Kathryn—who isolate him from the outside world and subject him to a strange “re-education.” In the house, where the couple also lives with their 10-year-old son Jonathan, the usual rules don’t apply, and Tommy gradually realizes that this isn’t a random kidnapping, but a carefully thought-out plan for his “moral rehabilitation.”
