Organic and Eco Experiments at SteelPark | Workshop

What damage can an oil spill cause in the ocean? Why are cities sometimes shrouded in smog, and how does pollution affect plant and animal life? All this will be revealed at the BIO EKO Experiments workshop, which will take place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at SteelPark.

Through interactive experiments, visitors will become part of scientific research and see with their own eyes how human activity is changing the natural environment. They’ll test an oil spill model, try to save a bird’s feather, explore the causes of urban smog, and discover why more acidic oceans threaten marine life.

The workshop uses an accessible and hands-on approach to explain the connections between emissions, pollution, and climate change. It demonstrates that science not only helps us understand how nature works but also helps us discover solutions that can contribute to its protection.
