The aim of the upcoming production Drana is to talk about the theme of otherness in the context of the need for acceptance. Feeling safe and belonging are basic human needs. Understanding one's need to feel belonging and to belong somewhere is a fundamental part of creating one's own identity and self-awareness. If a person does not receive these feelings from their parents in early childhood, their quality of life declines and they gradually develop emotional and behavioural problems. Such a person feels that they do not belong anywhere. Although everybody belongs somewhere, albeit somewhere more, somewhere less and somewhere forced. Ana is not just any ordinary girl. Or, Ana isn't just a normal girl? It depends on the point of view, it depends on whether we accept her. Do we accept her for who she is, or do we change her and make her belong by force? Or do we exclude her and she won't belong at all? These questions will be addressed by the heroine of the upcoming project - Ana. Ana's parents are renowned hairdressers and the whole town has fantastic hairstyles from them. And when their daughter is about to be born, they can't wait to see how they will play with her hair. But they can't wait, Ana's hair doesn't grow, Ana grows wires. The parents struggle with disappointment, accepting their child as she is and instead of trying to change her, picking up what society sees as a flaw, a misstep, an eyesore.
