Peter Cibula: ABOUT A MAN WHO WAS NOT AFRAID OF THE DEVIL
A fairy tale story, written on the motifs of Dobšinský's fairy tales. The narrators of the story are an angel and a devil, as representatives of good and evil, who observe and comment on our human actions, thus offering the possibility of interaction with the viewer. At the same time, they are an image of the good and the bad in us. But what we choose is up to us.
In order to know/identify where we want to go, we should know where we are coming from. And so we go back in time, to the time of our ancestors. Good old folk proverbs remind us of the wisdom of the peasant's mind, for example, that a lie has short legs. But with humility and goodness in your heart, you will succeed and make your way in the world. And how will our Palo fare? That will be revealed by his journey - hilarious and dangerous, with humour and songs - during which the boy will become a young man. The production is supported by a strong visual component and songs.
