Bonko, an orbital paratrooper from the Intergalactic Council, sets off a series of bizarre events—ranging from international cyberterrorism to the apocalypse itself—after installing experimental time-travel technology.
RECORD is a wild retro sci-fi comedy set in the year 2000. It follows the story of Bonko, an orbital paratrooper enhanced with time implants, whom the Intergalactic Council has sent on a crucial mission: to warn humanity of the impending end of the world in 2012.
Bonko sticks faithfully to his rule of “never reading manuals” and decides that television is the best broadcasting medium. He therefore hires local filmmakers to shoot a warning spot and, using quantum technology, hacks directly into the analog broadcast. Instead of issuing a warning, however, his broadcast triggers a massive international cyberattack, and the authorities, along with the media, immediately brand him as public enemy number one.
Agent G is tasked with investigating the ensuing chaos and gradually pieces together the fragments of the truth. You’ll find out in the movie how he copes with the lack of information and his abduction by a parasitic alien race, the Xalaxians!
Will they manage to save the world after all that? Probably yes… after all, we’re still alive! 😄

The film is shot in English (for international film festivals), but the main character uses a pure Eastern Slovak dialect as his “alien language.”
