The film *Milota* is a sensitive exploration of the most intimate aspects of the personal life of the artist—photographer Milota Havránková—combined with an examination of her artistic identity, her distinct stance toward the political climate and the artistic scene of the 1960s and 1970s, her coexistence with young artists, and, above all, her strong and unique bond with her family—a family that was a great source of inspiration for Havránková during her childhood and continues to inspire her as an adult to this very day.

Milota reveals her sorrows and joys; her sincerity is both moving and surprising. An intimate confession from an artist whose path to fame was not strewn with roses. The story of an artist—a mother—who sought a delicate balance between her creative work and family life.
