Salsa has never been danced alone. In Cuba and Puerto Rico, it has always been a dance where people meet, laugh, and get to know one another. And that’s exactly the kind of atmosphere we want to bring to Tabačka.

The evening will kick off with a lesson led by Lucka Miková, one of Slovakia’s most renowned salsa instructors, and her dance partner Lacko. We’ve known Lucka since 2005, and we know she can teach the basics even to someone who’s only ever danced at a wedding. After the lesson, the dance floor will open, the music will start, and the salsa social will begin. Dance with whoever you want, as much as you want, and most importantly, just for the fun of it.

Dance is a love language that works even without words. Just offer your hand, and one song will say more about a person than a week of messaging on an app. Whether you walk away with new friendships, a great evening, or something more, we’ll leave that up to you and the music.

You don’t need a partner or any dance experience—most people come alone. Feel free to bring your friends and enjoy a wonderful evening at Tabačka.
