Starry Night

Last year’s Starry Night brought together sports, music, entertainment, and thousands of visitors. A total of 1,978 swimmers participated in the 24-hour swim, collectively covering 1,672 kilometers and 700 meters and setting two new Slovak records. This year, we’ll try to beat them.

You can look forward to an exciting program and the 24-hour swim, which is open to both individuals and teams. We’d love it if you could make time to form a team with your colleagues or come with your loved ones to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Starry Night 2.

Sunday, August 30, 2026

· 9:45 a.m. – Event opening and cultural program

· 10:00 a.m. – Start of the 24-hour swimming challenge and attempt to break last year’s Slovak record for the number of meters swum

Monday, August 31, 2026

· 10:00 a.m. – End of timed swim and announcement of the result of the record attempt

· Presentation of a certificate and medal by the Slovak Record Commissioners—if the record is successfully broken
