Summer Fashion KidLab | Fashion with a Twist

Summer at Kulturpark continues to be all about creativity and new experiences. The summer Fashion KidLab—Fashion with a Twist—continues into the second half of August, offering children at SteelPark the chance to explore the world of design, colors, and materials in a playful way.

Every child has a wealth of ideas, and Fashion KidLab creates a space where they can freely develop them. Under the guidance of fashion designer Jana Polak, participants will learn about the creative process and try their hand at creating their own designs and original fashion solutions.

The program is designed for children interested in creativity, new ideas, and experimentation. During the sessions, they will work with various materials and discover the possibilities offered by the world of fashion and design. On August 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., they’ll take part in activities such as tying, cutting, dyeing, gluing, drawing, designing, sewing, and pinning.

Using prepared inspirational prompts, they will create their own designs for clothing, accessories, and illustrations, or try their hand at hands-on modeling using fabrics directly on mannequins. Each creation will be unique, as it will reflect each participant’s own imagination and personal perspective.

Fashion KidLab shows children that creativity isn’t just about the end result, but above all about the joy of the process, discovering new possibilities, and having the courage to try something of their own.
