Take off

“When tilers want to steal something, they take tiles. If they worked in a diamond mine, they’d take home something completely different...”

Take a peek into the world of typical Czech tile setters, who—with a healthy dose of quirky humor, a sense of perspective, and an original vocabulary—prove that even a plan that seems simple at first glance can turn into a seriously tangled situation.

During their lunch break, the craftsmen decide to steal a pallet of tiles and sell it for cash. What was supposed to be a quick and easy job, however, gradually turns into a series of unexpected events, comical situations, and revelations that show that behind every decision there may be much more than meets the eye.

Get ready for a comedy full of sharp humor, excellent dialogue, and situations in which many viewers may recognize themselves.
