It was supposed to be just an ordinary weekend with friends. But then came a text message read by mistake and a debate over the bill that turns a long-standing friendship upside down. The theatrical comedy *The Bill*, starring Ady Hajdu, Lukáš Latinák, and Róbert Jakab, brings intelligent humor, witty dialogue, and situations that many audience members may recognize to Košice. The performance will take place on May 18, 2027, at 7:00 p.m. at the Historic Town Hall.

Three friends, three different personalities, and a host of unspoken truths. A self-assured seducer, a bachelor with a penchant for moralizing, and an eternal intellectual come together for a get-together. But all it takes is one piece of bad news, a few drinks, and a seemingly innocent situation turns into an open clash of opinions, egos, and old grievances.

With humor, the comedy *The Bill* reveals the intricacies of male logic, the unwritten rules of friendship, and men’s ability to understand one another even though others often fail to understand them. Verbal sparring, unexpected confessions, and bittersweet moments gradually reveal that paying the bill is never really just about money.

Ady Hajdu, Lukáš Latinák, and Róbert Jakab star in the lead roles. These seasoned actors and improvisers bring to the stage not only their comedic talent but also the genuine friendship that binds them offstage.

This theatrical comedy is based on a story by French author Clément Michel. Jakub Nvota directed the production, and Elena Flašková provided the translation. Eva Kudláčová designed the set and costumes, and Kamil Mikulčík composed the music.
