The Devil's Bride

The plot of the story about The Forgotten Devil is very well-known and simple. In an old, forgotten house, a devil named Trepifajksel has been living for several centuries; his “moment of glory” is long past. He used to scare people, but today he has no one left to scare, and since they’ve forgotten him in hell, he lives comfortably in his cottage, feeding on beetles, frogs, and whatever else he finds or catches in the forest... However, this comfortable life is disrupted by the arrival of Miss Plajznerka. Thanks in part to her culinary skills, she gradually “humanizes” him, teaching him to work and live among people.
