The Goddess Within Us | A Healing Comedy
The uplifting comedy *The Goddess Within Us* will bring a story full of humor, candid conversations, and life’s big questions to the Historic Town Hall on November 27, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
Each of the heroines brings her own experiences, personality, and worldview. However, their time together forces them to step out of their usual roles, speak openly about their fears and desires, and hold up a mirror to one another. The play doesn’t shy away from a lighthearted touch or topics that aren’t usually discussed. And there will even be talk of sex and feeding Mangalica pigs.
The cast features Katarína Mayer, Markéta Derdáková, Lýdia Ladanová, Zuzana Frešo, and Zuzana Furmanczuk. Soňa Borušovičová is responsible for direction and dramaturgy, and Jana Schochmann designed the costumes.
The performance lasts approximately 70 minutes without an intermission and is suitable for audiences aged 15 and older. The production was created as part of the creative collective “Goddesses Within Us,” which made its debut in September 2024.
