Van Helsing's Adventure Expedition at SteelPark | Workshop
What if there’s more to the stories of vampires, bats, Banshee fairies, and Frankenstein’s monster than just spooky legends? On Friday, October 30, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., SteelPark will host the workshop “Van Helsing’s Adventurous Expedition,” which combines a mysterious atmosphere with science, experiments, and a little courage.
How is “vampires drinking blood” related to physics? Can UV light reveal what we can’t see with the naked eye? And what does Frankenstein’s monster have in common with electric current?
During the expedition, young explorers will follow in the footsteps of supernatural beings and, through experiments, seek explanations for phenomena that once might have seemed like real magic. Light, sound, electricity, the human body, and a bit of chemistry will all come into play.
But we won’t reveal all of Van Helsing’s secrets. Some mysteries will remain hidden until the expedition itself.
All you need is courage, curiosity, and a desire to see for yourself that even the scariest stories can have a perfectly scientific explanation.
