We invite you to the exclusive premiere of the Czech-Slovak film BOJOVNÍK on August 13 at Amfik, with the filmmakers and cast in attendance. The film will be introduced by actors Milan Ondrík, Ján Jackuliak, and Marián Mitaš, as well as Vojtech Frič—producer, co-director, and co-screenwriter.

Sometimes, the greatest courage is trying again

Award-winning actor Milan Ondrík is in the form of his life as former champion Hoff, who is striving to return to the world of combat sports. However, his comeback is driven by more than just a desire to fight again. In fact, he’s fighting for something far more valuable—a relationship with his family, his own dignity, and the chance to make amends for the mistakes that cost him everything he once cared about.

A gripping story set in the world of one of today’s most exciting sports, featuring not only leading Czech and Slovak actors but also real-life MMA stars.

Pavel Hoffmeister, alias Hoff, was a European champion and Olympic medalist in boxing. After years away from the world of sports, he receives an unexpected offer to return to the ring. The gauntlet thrown down—which he accepts—is not a boxing one, however. He will face his opponent in MMA.

New rules, grueling training, and an opponent who will test not only his physical condition but also his character await him. The toughest fight, however, won’t take place in the cage. Above all, he’ll have to face himself and fight to regain the trust of his loved ones.

Set in a world where every mistake hurts, the film *The Fighter* draws viewers into the real world of MMA, one of today’s most striking phenomena—from grueling training through the pulsing tension before a fight and the adrenaline in the cage to the authentic atmosphere of sold-out arenas.

Above all, however, it is a story full of emotions that cannot be locked away in a locker, of losses that hurt more than can be put into words, and of a determination that compels a person not to give up.
