Who Will It Be? | A Theater Comedy

Five men, one revolver, and a comedy that hasn’t lost its spark even after more than 500 performances. The cult production *Na koho to slovo padne* will be performed on November 10, 2027, at 7:00 p.m. at the Historic Town Hall in Košice. Audiences can look forward to an evening full of intelligent humor, brilliant dialogue, and unexpected twists.

Five men with very different personalities meet in a locked room—a mobster from Leopoldov, a nationalist from Repkovce, a snitch, an intellectual, and an aristocrat. When a revolver enters the picture, their true characters begin to emerge and their relationships are turned upside down. This grotesque comedy offers not only plenty of humorous moments but also a witty critique of power and human weaknesses.

The play was written by Hungarian playwright Gábor Görgey. Peter Mankovecký directs the production, and Peter Pavlac served as dramaturg. The cast features Lukáš Latinák, Juraj Kemka, Marián Miezga, Róbert Jakab, and Vladimír Kobielsky. This production by the Astorka Korzo ’90 Theater has won over audiences both at home and abroad and has been successfully performed in countries such as the U.S., Australia, Hungary, and France.
