Igor Macák

Igor Macák was born in 1951 in Želiezovce, near Levice. He learned his craft in the famous Slovak folk majolica in Modra, ceramics studies. Later, he worked at the Slovak Institution of Fine Arts in Bratislava. In Košice, he has been creating unique ceramic products on the local Craft Street since the 1990s, which is today known as the oldest and most iconic street in the city.
