Turniská

Head to the picturesque village of Kojšov, located northwest of Košice, for natural beauty. Two hiking trails will take you to an impressive rock formation in the nearby forest. On the way through Sedlo nad Murovanou skalou you will also find the Three Stones well with spring water, which will come in handy during a hot day! Your destination will be Turniská, otherwise known as Turne—a conglomeration of five rock towers on the southern slope of Murovana skala, which are famous for their magnificent vault with an internal tunnel up to 10 metres high. Watch your feet, lest you accidentally step on a spotted salamander, which enjoys the cooler and wetter environment here!
