Visit the unique gallery on Protifašistických bojovníkov Street, dedicated to works from the Košice Modernist period, featuring dozens of exhibits by Július Jakoby and Vincent Hložník. Jakoby’s permanent exhibition has been on display here since 2023 – it is the publicly accessible collection of the Majoroš family, which is the second largest after that of the East Slovak Gallery. Art lovers will also be in their element here when viewing the exceptional collection of works by the artist and painter Vincent Hložník, featuring elements of critical magical realism and the artist’s characteristic metaphors of the horse, the clown, the human and the Saviour.
